It is fantastic stuff and the kind of stuff that is so great, Hollywood has come calling and there is a movie in production as I type this. As is the case with all of the Uncharted games, things go wrong, there is betrayal, personal growth, and a supernatural element at play too. In this first game, we get to meet Nathan Drake who claims to be a distant relative to Sir Frances Drake and he is looking for El Dorado. One of the strongest things that this series has going for it is the story.
Drake can be equipped with up to two firearms one single-handed and one two-handed. Drake is physically adept and is able to jump, climb, and scale narrow ledges and wall-faces to get between points. Uncharted 2 is an action - adventure platform video game played from a third-person view, with the player in control of Nathan Drake. I still feel that this is a fantastic adventure game and the start of one of if not the best exclusive series that Sony has going! While it may be a tad rough around the edges compared to the games that followed it. Especially considering as I am writing this review after Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy have been released.
As the first game in the series, you may think that Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is hard to go back to.
